We at NZ On Cars were lucky enough to get our hands on the latest generation of the very popular Peugeot 308 GT. This particular car is the pre-production model and the only one in the country until stock starts rolling in sometime in November 2022.
A great sporty little number from the French manufacturer with a very smooth and responsive 1199cc 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine pumping out 130 horses (96 kilowattages) mated to an awesome 8 speed automatic gearbox with manual mode and flappy paddle shifters. A very economical car too with a claimed 5.2 litres per 100 kilometres. Running on 95 or 98RON fuel that economy will be appreciated.

308 Allure – $46,990 (eligible for government clean car rebate of $2,490.34 as at 10/22)
308 GT – $51,990 (eligible for government clean car rebate of $2,490.34 as at 10/22)
308 GT Plug-in Hybrid – $74,990 (eligible for government clean car rebate of $5,750 as at 10/22)
