Welcome to the Opel Astra SRi hatch. Astra has been in New Zealand for quite a few years now but usually behind Holden badging, and to be fair most of the earlier ones weren’t all that great despite the fact they sold well, usually to fleet buyers forcing sales reps around the country to visit their clients in them.
So, how well does the current model stack up against it’s predecessors? I kinda did like it a bit, something I never thought I would say about an Astra, but check out our video review below to find out more about it. Watch to the end to see us having a little fun with the voice activation system.
Currently retailing for $45,990 (down $4,000 since filming) with the clean car rebate no longer available. A great price to be honest.
