Peugeot’s latest offering for the commercial sector shouldn’t disappoint those needing to save on their businesses bottom line when it comes to running costs for their tradies transport or delivery vehicle. Whilst the range, 339 kilometres (claimed), isn’t suitable for the likes of couriers that will travel many more kilometres than the e-Expert can manage, it will still be perfect for tradies, builders in particular that can charge it while at the construction site, or businesses that will only do a few deliveries or pickups a day. This will certainly make the company accountant smile when they crunch the numbers on the running costs!
Whilst it may not have all the bells and whistles, it does have the bare basics needed in a workhorse. The interior is certainly rugged enough to cope with the daily abuse a sparky or plumber might hurl at it. It even has dual aircon to keep the hard working labourer cool on a hot day while the boss in the drivers seat may not need as much cooling down! The audio system is sufficient but could be improved as those spending a long day in the cab may be listening to it a far bit. Of course it does have bluetooth hands free for streaming and making calls to customers.
