If you are looking for a family wagon with all the modern tech, comfort and excellent build quality, along with proven reliability, look not further than the smart looking Skoda Kodiaq, in particular the RS model at the top of the Kodiaq range.

Aside from the obvious financial benefits that were offered to the New Zealand Police for Skoda to be their main choice of fleet supplier, high on the list would have been the build quality, versatility, and reliability Skoda are renowned for.

There were a few niggly little things that did bug me with the Kodiaq, which I touch on in the video review below, but to be honest they are really minor things in what is overall an excellent all round car.

A bit longer this review, but there was a lot to cover given the features on the RS, so, enjoy the video…

The Skoda Kodiaq range starts with the Ambition TSI 110kW, 1.4 litre turbo petrol at $53,990 all the way up to the all singing, all dancing RS TSI 180kW 2.0 litre 4×4 turbo petrol at $84,990. Clean car rebates are available across the range at the moment too. While the price for the RS version may appear a little steep, you do get a hell of a lot of kit for the money along with top class quality and reliability. And, if you’re quick, Skoda have a special offer running until September the 30th 2023 bringing the price down to $79,990 before the clean car rebate! But get in quick, this offer is likely to be popular.
