Suzuki have always been renowned for some of the most fuel efficient cars on the planet and kinder to the environment as a result. But now Suzuki have gone one step further bringing out a range of hybrid options with an aim of becoming less reliant on the internal combustion engine in the near future.

Whilst on paper the economy of the Hybrid range appear to be only a slight improvement over the fully ICE options, 6.6 to 6.9 litres per 100ks with the Hybrid versions getting between 5.0 and 6.0, its the planet saving emissions where the real benefits come into play, 153 to 161 grams per kilometre compared to a much cleaner 112 to 136 CO2 output.

There is six options available in the Hybrid range from the JX 2 wheel drive six speed manual at a very affordable $39,990 + on road costs (ORC) up to the JLX All Wheel Drive six speed auto two tone only a few dollars more at $45,790. No clean car rebate available on the Hybrid range as they are clean car neutral under the governments clean car rebate scheme.
