The 2024 Hyundai Santa Fe has gone full midlife crisis — but in the best way possible.

It has been a busy year for us with my day job keeping me extremely busy and exhausted so we are playing catch up on some of our reviews.
A while back, (5 years ago actually!) we tested the three door version of the awesome little Suzuki Jimny, which was a great little wagon off road but not that great for around town. How does the 5 door compare? Check out our video to find out.

This time round we have two cars at the same time. And they are they same, but also different, but also the same, apart from being different. Um, what?
Yes, here we have the Suzuki S-Cross Hybrid two wheel drive up against the Suzuki S-Cross Hybrid four wheel drive. The one in red is the 2wd version. The blue one is the 4wd version. Yes, after a few hours in them I finally remembered which was which!

If you are looking for a family wagon with all the modern tech, comfort and excellent build quality, along with proven reliability, look not further than the smart looking Skoda Kodiaq, in particular the RS model at the top of the Kodiaq range.

Not long before the COVID-19 lock-down we tested the Holden Acadia, one of the last vehicles to carry the Holden name plate. And what a vehicle it is!
Now is the time to get out there and pick up a bargain as Holden sell off the remaining stock (when things are back to normal of course!). These are effectively collectors items now.
Enjoy the video below and stay safe people. Looking forward to coming out of the lock-down and locking in more tests.

Remaining largely unchanged for the last twenty or so years Suzuki finally upgraded the Jimny (very easy to pronounce this Jiminy, as I do many times, even the Suzuki sales guys sometimes take to calling it Jiminy Cricket!), and let’s face it, why would you change something that has been extremely successful for the last two plus decades. After all, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Well, the Jimny certainly wasn’t broke, and new model isn’t trying to fix something that doesn’t need fixing, instead, they are pretty much perfecting perfection.
Ultimate luxury here in the Toyota Highlander, from the moment you plant your tush on the soft black leather, 12 way electrically adjustable seats you’ll notice the supreme comfort and attention to detail.
Soft touch dash panels with brown stitching to add a splash of colour. Keep toasty warm in winter and refreshingly cool in summer with the heated and cooled front seats, dual climate aircon with separate controls for the middle and rear rows of seats. Nice blue ambient lighting throughout the cabin makes this a very pleasant place to be at night.
For a car that is essentially a Mitsubishi, it is amazing how different it really is. The Peugeot 4008 shares almost everything with its Japanese sister with the outer shell being the main obvious difference. And a fantastic difference it is, I for one am totally sold on the 4008’s looks whereas the ASX looks chunky and lumpy the 4008 has a more of Remuera tractor look that should, and in most cases no doubt, never ever go off road any further than a pothole on Ponsonby road. This is unfortunate with these nice looking 18 inch alloy wheels, as fitted to the Feline model we tested, never being lucky enough to see a muddy farm track for the 4008 is actually a fantastic machine to bump over grassy knolls or splash through fresh cow pats.
